Where do I park?
There are three options for parking:
1. Small street-level lot located next to Elevate (Clearly labeled)
2. Street parking closer towards town
3. Willow Kiln Public Lot (5 min walk)

Can I park behind the building?
No. There is no public parking behind Elevate. Those spots are reserved for residents and renters only. Please be respectful.
Is the building accessible for people with mobility challenges?
Not entirely. The main floor of the building is generally accessible; however, the bathroom is located on the second floor and is not designed for individuals with mobility challenges. This poses a significant issue for those who may have difficulty climbing stairs.
How do I find out if a class is canceled?
Please visit our bulletin on the home page or contact the instructor directly.
Should I contact the instructor before coming to a class?
Each instructor does appreciate a heads up when someone new plans to attend a class but walk-ins are always welcome!
What is Brazilian Jiu Jitsu?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a refined grappling martial art that emphasizes ground-based techniques. It equips practitioners with effective tools for self-defense in grappling scenarios. The practice is both enjoyable and physically demanding, requiring significant mental engagement. Participants should be prepared for close physical proximity and an active, sweat-inducing experience.
What do I wear to No-Gi Class v.s. Gi class?
Gi class: Traditional "Kimono" made for BJJ specifically, belt, rash guard
No-Gi: Rash guard (swim shirt material), compression shorts or pants with board shorts on top (athletic shorts with no pockets)

Where do I enter the building?
Basement Entrance: Brazilian jiu jitsu, self defense, Bujinkan
Main Entrance: All other classes, appointments and events
